"I look forward to teaching you"

These were some of the famous last words uttered by MeShawn Johnson on National TV at the NFL Draft, after the Carolina Panthers selected Dewayne Jarrett from USC.

"The News
In a surprise move, the Panthers released wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson on Tuesday. "They said they wanted to get younger," Johnson told the St. Petersburg Times. "That's fine with me. I'd like to go somewhere and help win another Super Bowl." He signed a four-year contract with Carolina last year and finished the season with 70 receptions for 815 yards and four touchdowns."

All I have to say is, I hope Keyshawn taught Jarrett a lot in those 5 days.

As for the fantasy implications of this move, this elevates Steve Smith even higher on the overall boards, and cements as the #1 WR in the fantasy world. However, he does need a legitimate partner to emerge on the other side to take away some double and triple coverages. Keary Colbert and Drew Carter will be the leaders in the clubhouse for the gig. Of course there is always a chance that 'Dale' Jarrett could emerge from the pack without Meshawns tutelage and take over the gig.

Keep an eye on this scenario over the summer as you head into your drafts.
