Ahhhh the Sports Abyss of July

July has got to be the single-worst month for sports. The NHL is done with their playoffs, the NBA is done, and their draft is over. All you have left is the most pointless month in MLB to pay attention to. What is worse, the NFL is still a month away from opening training camps.

Is there any reason to be paying attention to the sports pages in July? Absolutely. Especially if you are a Fantasy Football player. This is prime time to be tracking your team if it's a keeper league, and setting your player rankings if you redraft each year.

July is also a great month to catch up on the movers and shakers in the NFL, that you may have missed while watching the great hockey playoffs this year.

In the coming weeks I'm going to get my player lists in order, and post them here for the world to see. Hopefully some people will take my advice, and take heart in the rankings that will be released. Perhaps then a few people can even beat me this year.

Last year in 4 leagues, I had all 4 of my teams make the playoffs of their respected leagues. I won one championship, and a couple seconds and a third. This year I look to improve on those numbers, as I prove that yes, I really do know my stuff when it comes to this silly but great game.

I'll be posting my lists in this order, Top 25 QBs, Top 50 RBs, Top 50 WRs, Top 25 TEs, Top 20 Team Defense/Special Teams, and top 20 K. And if there's time, a composite list.

And yes, when I get done with these rankings, I'll be using them in all my drafts this year.

As always, my email address on the side bar is available for those with questions that need answering. I'll do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Good luck to all this year!
